REMC announces new resource to support teachers
Are you interested in exploring ways to make connections between computer science and grade level curriculum content? If so, you need to check out our new MITECS and Computer Science Standards Crosswalk.
These resources provide a variety of activities for teachers to easily integrate the MITECS (Michigan Integrated Technology Competencies for Students) and Michigan Computer Science Standards into the K-8 classroom.
The user-friendly resources are meant for all teachers, from those who need support getting started with coding and computer science to those with experience with technology integration who are looking for new ideas. There is a separate crosswalk and video for Grades K-2, Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-8.
