Esports Amplified

What is Esports Amplified?

The Esports Amplified Project aims to help schools provide opportunities for students to develop teamwork and leadership skills, increase their school engagement and build diversity, equity and inclusion into the school culture through scholastic esports.

What are Scholastic esports?

Organized competitive gameplay designed to facilitate opportunities for students to learn how to work with a team just like traditional school sports.

How Does the project work?

The Esports Amplified project provides participating local REMC's with resources and equipment for facilitating professional development and supporting Esports programs in local school districts. The resources and support will closely mirror the curriculum delivered in the REMC Esports Academy. A set of 10 Nintendo Switch consoles will be provided to provide a high-quality experience at no cost. Each participating REMC center will be able to offer local schools the opportunity to use these consoles to host tournaments, open houses, esports clubs or competitive teams.
