Making in Action: StrawbeesAbout
Strawbees is an award-winning, light-weight, construction system for all ages. It is a kit based on simple units called Strawbees, that lets you connect straws to each other and build little to huge mechanical objects from just straws and cardboard.

Appropriate for Grades: K-12

Making the Argument: StrawbeesAdding Value by Adding Strawbees
Strawbees encourage playful exploration and learning by making. They also provide an opportunity for students to be creative and think differently when constructing shapes and forms. When connected to micro:bits, Makey Makeys, littleBits, motors, and sensors, these structures can be programmed and engineered to do different things.
