Student Podcast Challenge starts November 20th
REMC Association is excited to join forces with Michigan Association of School Librarians (MASL) and Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) to offer a Student Podcast Challenge. We are looking for educators across the state to submit an audio file created by either an individual student or a team of students in grades 5th - 12th.
Submissions will be judged in two age groups: Middle School (5-8) and High School (9-12) based on criteria that includes information, structure, creativity and production. All contest entries must be received by midnight on January 24th. Contest details are posted on our podcasting webpage or you can click here for the entry form.
REMC Association created several resources to support educators interested in using podcasting in education. Designed with classroom teachers, students, administrators and support staff in mind, our resources include a Developers Guide and Bibliography, and a Video Learning Library.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three submissions.
