New REMC SAVE contracts to launch Jan. 1st
The REMC Association awarded new contracts to begin on January 1st for Technology & Furniture and School & Office Supplies. These contracts include the items and savings you have come to expect as well as expanded items based on feedback from Michigan educators.
The School & Office Supplies contract will run through September 30, 2025. It includes items ranging from art and physical education supplies, binders, batteries, and envelopes to pencils, tape dispensers and sticky notes. The awarded vendors include ACCO Brands USA LLC, Custom Plus, Quill Corporation and School Specialty. When logging into these vendor sites, you can order directly and receive the REMC SAVE discounts.
Running through December 31, 2024 is the Technology & Furniture contract. This contract secures pricing on items such as interactive classroom technology, printers, computer accessories, headphones, STEM items, desks, chairs and office furniture. There are over 20 vendors who submitted bids that were vetted and approved by the REMC Association.
New and expanded items this year include:
- UPSs (including Li-On)
- 2-way Radios
- Vape detectors
- MetaQuest & HTC Vive VR headsets
- White glove computer install services
- Chrome screen replacement (hardware and/or service)
- Wireless casting
- Digital creation kits
- Bluetooth speakers
- USB chargers
- USB Headphones/Headsets
- Professional Development
- Services (Installation, Engineering, Consulting, etc.)
- Digital Signage
- Optoma IFPs
