In this Quest, you learned how to use formulas and functions in a spreadsheet to perform accurate calculations and uncover patterns hidden in your data. By selecting the correct cells and checking for errors, you used tools like AutoSum, SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, and MAX to turn numbers into reliable clues that helped move the investigation forward. You have completed this Quest when you have:

  • Determined what a formula and cell reference are based on the video you played.
  • Created your formulas in the Lego Minifig and Sports Cards spreadsheet, specifically equals and sigma for adding, subtracting, and auto summing values.
  • Recorded your answers and reflections in your 13. Data Detective Notebook on slides 9, 10, & 11.
