2. Visual Learning


As part of this Thing, you will be learning how to create visual organizers, apply your skill to investigate thrill rides, learn to create and use QR codes, and apply scientific knowledge to design a roller coaster that will not stall or crash.

Watch a training video on Gliffy or Popplet, create a visual map, and create a graphic organizer.

Use a graphic organizer and create a visual organizer to solve a problem, then take a survey and compare your data to others.

Watch a video to learn about and create QR codes and explore the use of these graphics on mobile devices.

Quest 4: STEAM Roller Coaster

Apply your science knowledge of mass, gravity, potential and kinetic energy to design roller coasters that will not stall or crash.
