Downloading & UPLOADING fILES AND Putting THEM INTO FOLDERS

On your computer, you can download and upload files to and from your drive.google.com. You can upload files directly into private or shared folders.  Follow the directions below or play the videos provided.

  1. Select this 4.Q3 Google Drive Practice File and download it to your computer. Make sure you note where you save it!
  2. Action: In your Google Drive you will upload this Practice file into a folder. Direction: In your Drive, click the + to open the menu to create a new Folder. Name the folder 21t4s Activities. Open the folder (double-click on it) and select NEW and File Upload locate the Practice File you just downloaded and select it. Watch for the message that the upload is complete.
  3. Once you upload the document, change the name of the file by using control-click or right-click on the file and select rename. Add your name or initials to the document.
